Most accelerators back any kind of start-up. SuperCharger Ventures only works with education and future-of-work companies, so its mentors spend their days thinking about how people learn. From April to July 2025, iCodejr was part of its fourth Malta cohort, and on 26 June 2025 our Founder and CEO, Hannan Moti, pitched iCodejr at Demo Day at Verdala Palace.
SuperCharger lists iCodejr among its Malta alumni: see the SuperCharger Ventures Malta Cohort page.

What SuperCharger Ventures is
SuperCharger Ventures is an accelerator just for education companies, based in Malta. Since 2023 it has run cohorts of start-ups from around the world, working with Malta Enterprise to bring EdTech companies to the island. By June 2025 it had accelerated more than 53 start-ups in Malta.
Each cohort ends with a Demo Day, where the start-ups pitch to investors, clients and the local start-up community.
Three months in Malta
Cohort 4.0 ran in person. Hannan spent three months in Malta, from April to July 2025, working alongside founders building education products in Europe, the US and the Gulf.
On 5 June 2025, SuperCharger Ventures showcased iCodejr at its Future of Education Technology event at Trident Park, Malta.
During his time in Malta, Hannan also met Robert Abela, Prime Minister of Malta.
Through the programme, iCodejr was offered up to €1.5 million in debt funding. We turned it down.
Demo Day at Verdala Palace
The Cohort 4.0 Demo Day took place on Thursday 26 June 2025 at Verdala Palace in Buskett. It was part of FESTA, SuperCharger’s first week-long innovation festival. Thirteen start-ups were on the line-up, from the United States to Denmark to Croatia. Two came from the UAE: Verbatica and iCodejr.
Hannan pitched iCodejr to investors, clients and the Maltese start-up community.
Why this matters for your child
- Advice from people who know learning. In an EdTech-only accelerator, the mentors and fellow founders are all working on how people learn, which is the part that matters most to you.
- Ideas from 10 countries. Three months alongside education start-ups from Europe and the US is a chance to pick up fresh ideas for teaching coding, AI and robotics and bring them back to our classes in the UAE.
- Growing on our own terms. Saying no to a large loan means iCodejr stays independent and debt-free, focused on the children we teach rather than on repayments.
- The classroom stays the same. Every regular iCodejr class is still live, online and one-to-one, for ages 5–18.
Part of a busy spring
Malta was one of three European milestones for iCodejr in spring 2025. In April we were selected for Unicorn Factory Lisboa’s Spring 2025 incubation programme, and in May Hannan presented our AI-first approach to education at GITEX Europe in Berlin with the UAE delegation.
