Specially designed program for early readers and takes into account cognitive abilities as well as the attention span typical for ages 5-7.
Students learn basic coding concepts, such as Loops and Conditions.
Build simple projects, including games, stories, and drawing and animating game characters.

Students will be able to comfortably build simple scratch projects on their own.

Intro to Coding - Level 2

Duration: 2 weeks (6 sessions)

In Level 2, students dive deeper into the world of coding with more challenging and interactive projects, further cementing their coding concepts, and building logical thinking and cognitive skills.

Game Development - Level 1

Learn coding fundamentals like loops, variables, and conditionals.
Create interest-based games, mazes, and animated stories.
Concepts covered: Algorithms, Sequencing, Events, Logic Building, Time & Direction Sense.

Game Development - Level 2

Duration: 2 weeks (6 sessions)

Learn proper Java syntax to develop customized games and programs.
Understand game design theory.
Use various debugging techniques to test and perfect code.
Manage a multiplayer server – including whitelisting players and developing your own commands!
Use variables, functions, and control structures to customize Minecraft.

Web Development - Intro

Duration: 1 month (12 sessions)

Introduction to HTML CSS Javascript
HTML Tags, CSS Properties, Javascript functions & event listeners.
Build your own front-end website.

By the end of the course, students know how to design a web page, write codes to display and style web content, and add Javascript codes to add interactivity to the website.

App Development - Level 1

Duration: 2 weeks (6 sessions)

Key Skills You'll Build:

Building mobile apps through block based coding.
Using variables, conditions, loops
Create your own app projects, such as a Bug Catcher game, Asteroid Dodging, and a Paint application.

By the end of the course, students will be able to build simple apps and live test them on phones or phone simulators on a computer.

App Development - Level 2

Duration: 2 weeks (6 sessions)

Take your app building skills to the next level in this course.
Learn new concepts such as functions, arrays, event listeners, and sensors.
Build interactive game apps, including a Brick Breaker game and a gamified music player app.

Students complete the course with skills to build their own fully functional game apps that they can share with friends and family.

Roblox

Duration: 1 month (12 sessions)

Key Skills You'll Build:

Use Roblox Studio and its building tools to create 3D worlds, add characters, and edit properties of game objects.
You will be introduced to coding with Lua programming language and will learn and practice basic coding concepts, such as loops, conditionals, and functions.
Get started with the fundamentals of game development and you could be making some Robux in no time!

Python

Duration: 1 month (12 sessions)

Key Skills You'll Build:

Learn fundamental programming concepts, including Loops, Conditionals, Functions, and Arrays.
Apply these concepts to create simple programs, such as a text-based Guess Number game and visual pattern projects using Python’s Turtle
Learn to use Pygame to build interactive graphic-based Python games, such as the Asteroid Dodging game and the Infinite Platformer.
